Detroit Lions Baby Groot Football Shirt
$19.50
Anyone who has watched a Lions game from a couch in Michigan knows the small ritual of digging through a drawer for something that says Detroit without feeling like a full jersey commitment. The Detroit Lions Baby Groot Football Shirt fills that gap: a graphic tee for NFL fans around the Motor City who like their game day gear with a sense of humor, whether that means a living room watch party, a tailgate lot, or a seat at Ford Field. We had fun with this one.
Baby Groot Lions shirt design details
The sapling character sits at the center of the print with both arms wrapped around a brown football, the way a kid holds a stuffed animal. A small Lions logo sits on his forehead and another on his jacket. Behind him, the big blue Lions wordmark runs wider than his shoulders, and Groot covers part of the lettering, which makes the name a little playful to read. It still reads fast. Next to the usual wordmark-only Lions tee that fills a fan’s drawer, this design gives the eye a character to land on first and the team name second.
Detroit supporters who also grew up on Guardians of the Galaxy are the obvious match, and some fans will pick it up for a friend who cheers for the Lions and quotes Marvel movies in equal measure. It suits an early Sunday kickoff, a Thanksgiving Day game, or a Saturday spent grilling before the crowd heads inside. As a relaxed game day tee, it sits comfortably under a jacket when the Michigan weather turns.
Detroit Lions gift shirt for the football season
Our small team at Teebete keeps a soft spot for mascot mashups like this one, and we argued about the forehead logo placement longer than we would like to admit. If a spouse, cousin, or coworker already owns three jerseys, a Lions fan gift with a different angle can be a nice change from another duplicate.
For anyone hunting for a Detroit Lions Baby Groot football shirt before the next home game, the football hugged tight against Groot’s chest is the detail that will probably get the first comment in the tailgate line.

Keeping Your Tee Looking Fresh
Cotton is easy to love and easy to care for. A few simple habits will keep the print sharp and the fabric soft for years:- Wash: Machine wash cold (30°C or below) with similar colors. Turn inside out to protect the print.
- Detergent: Stick to a mild, bleach-free formula to preserve color vibrancy and fabric softness.
- Dry: Tumble dry low or hang dry — this minimizes shrinkage and helps the print last longer.
- Iron: Iron inside out on medium heat only if needed. Never press directly on the design.
- Avoid: Bleach, dry cleaning, and high heat, which can fade, crack, or shrink the fabric.
- Storage: Fold and store in a cool, dry spot to keep it wrinkle-free and ready to wear.
